I am Kornél Papp. I started my master degree in computer science in August, specializing in visualization. Before starting university I worked full time as a full-stack developer for a small Norwegian company in Bergen called Trisense AS, but now I only work part time (60%) for the same company. I am mostly using React with Typescript as I am very much frontend focused currently, but I am open to delve more into backend. My biggest project was certainly the onboarding system. The main idea was to allow the field administrators to (with the use of NFC and/or QR code scanning) associate the real life sensors of the company with the digital entities in the cloud database. My job was to investigate different platforms for the solution, create prototypes, present the pros and cons of each, and then develop the application with the technology that we as a whole team decided on. Xamarin, Flutter, React Native, Java Android and React were considered, and finally React was chosen. I implemented the solution and turned our web application into a PWA. In my free time I host tabletop game events and sessions.
